Any fashionistas out there? What trends are you enjoying?
I am so appreciative that the trapeze tops and A-line dresses are still popular! Though I have been fortunate enough to maintain a decent weight, my “spare tire” is here to stay and I enjoy being able to wear dresses and tops that don’t emphasize it J I also enjoy the halter tops. The higher neck and emphasis on the shoulders works well. Are there any fashion trends you are enjoying right now?

To me a great fall outfit is a plain shirt, a colorful scarf, a grey sweater, cords or jeans, and boots. SPLURGE: Try American Eagle for the scarf, BCBG for a sweater, AG Jeans, Uggs, and American Eagle for a shirt.
SAVE: Target, Nordstroms Rack, Payless.... they will have it all!

I totally agree - low rise jeans have gotten a little bit too extreme. I went to pick my kids up the other day and one of the nannies of another kid had her thong showing!!! I thought it was completely inappropriate. As for the spare tire - one of my friends just got that Bender ball ab workout that you probably see all the commercials for - and she says its a really great workout

i LOVE that jumper dresses and high wasted skirts/jeans are back in style. I've been growing tired of seeing women in low rise jeans that are just a little bit TOO low for my taste. I real like the retro feel of today's styles, and the tops that are tight on the bust and flow loosely over the stomach are the perfect solution to the spare tire problem so many of us experience ;)

Amen to these styles! I hope they stay around for a while.... at least enough time for me to try to get rid of my spare tire! :)
