Pregnancy fashion

I see all sorts of ads for fashionable pregnant ware... but it seems like the mainstream designers today are ignoring this niche. Anyone have a brand they'd recommend?

I agree. Pretty much all the trendy clothes right now would mean you wouldn't have to buy any real maternity clothes until late in pregnancy.

Take advantage of the ongoing trends in women's fashion that include empire waisted, flowy dresses and shirts. It seems to me MANY trendy tops and dresses would work just as well for a pregnant woman. T-bags has great, fun maxi dresses that you could probably wear up until the last month or so. And I've seen less expensive knock offs everywhere including Old Navy and Madewell.

My wife didn't need pregnancy fashion or maternity wear until the last couple of months.

Old Navy...you only wear it for a short time and they have nice, fashionable stuff for affordable prices.
