Did you have a "Gut" feeling on what gender your baby was...were you right?

I was one of those who KNEW I was expecting pretty much immediately. Almost right away I also just KNEW what I was having, I had an overwhelming knowingness that Lainey and Evie were girls and Billy was certainly a boy.

Has anybody had this feeling and been wrong?

With my first baby, I just knew that I was having a girl. Every sonogram even gave that confirmation. The day I went to the hospital I took a boy outfit and a girl outfit "just in case". They did a sono the day of and still told me it was a girl. He came out with extra equipment and I told that doctor to put him back that I didn't order a boy! This pregnancy, my husband just knows I'm having a boy. I don't feel any gut feeling about this one being either sex. I am going to be happy with whatever we are given. I guess it's because I was so let down with my first.

I knew my daughter was going to be a girl, I just had that feeling. We were hoping for a boy, and I always felt bad when my husband would talk about all the things he was going to do if it were a boy, because I knew he was a she :) lol But he was just as excited when we found out we were going to have a little princess!

first and second had no idea. when our second was 3 months old i was pregnant with our third but i did not know i was pregnant. one evening i had a vision that we would have a third girl not knowing i was pregnant. i even told my husband about it and we decided on a name that same night having no clue that i was pregnant already......and yes, it was a girl!..... and we did use the name we had discussed that night. for our fourth baby it was like the first and second....i had no idea. it was another baby girl!

I have two kids and one on the way. I knew what all my babies were going to be before finding out. I also wondered if anyone else knew what they were going to have before finding out.

I was pretty sure that my first was a boy, my hubby was hoping for a girl but somehow I just "felt" that it was a boy. Just like i knew before he was born that he was going to be a handful and boy was I right. He has had me on my toes ever since he was born (two months earlY!! ) he is one busy little strong willed monster, lol

I was positive my 3rd was a girl. Absolutely 100% positive. In fact during the ultrasound when they paused the picture to have me guess, I missed the VERY, VERY OBVIOUS penis because I was looking for girl parts! The ultrasound couldn't have been more clear once I looked at the big picture and realized what I was looking at. So instead we had Boy #3!

But the 3rd pregnancy was most definately different then the 1st two. I was so sick with #3 and felt terrible. With #1 & #2 I had no sickness, nausea & wasn't fatigued. Go figure!

My oldest had her legs crossed on the day of the ultrasound, so we were unable to find out, but I "knew" I was having a girl. I even bought dresses for her. With my 2nd & 3rd, I also "knew" what I was having and the ultrasound confirmed it. But with my 4th I had no feelings one way or the other. I finially decided that I must be having a girl, because I already had 2 girls and a boy. After all the odds of having 2 boys & 2 girls and that they would alternate. But as it turns out I was wrong. I have 2 boys and 2 girls and they alternate; girl, boy, girl, boy. I joke that God knows me so well, that he even gave me a symetrical family (I'm definately a type A personality). LOL
