kids will eat when they are hungry and I really do not believe they will starve themselves.

i really like to get my kids involved and proactive in their daily life ( see my blog). ask them what they want to eat but tell them it has to have a healthy colourful food included. Do not give in and give them junk/suger just to feed them...that will only make the situation worse.

How old is your kid? I have a almost 3 year old who doesn't eat much. Your kid must eat someting. Mabe find creative ways to fulfill his nutritional requirements, like vitamins, omega 3's, healthy milkshakes. I give mine almonds for protein, yogurt, and he likes to eat shredded cheese (calcium). He only eats limited foods- rice, oatmeal, fast food chicken nuggets, ramen, spaghetti w/ alfredo sauce, and grapes. He does like breakfast foods. Thats it. No other meat, no other fruit. Get the V-8 veggie and fruit juice, it gives them a seving a veggies & fruit with each cup. If your kid is a good size and weight ( ask your doc) then I wouldn't worry too much. They will not starve themselves :) Hope this helps.

Thanks Zaria! That's great advice. Breakfast foods are usually a winner with kids - just got to watch out for too much sugar.
