who has an "uncommon" name for their child? if so, what does it mean?
my son's name is phaelan (pronounced like fay-lynn) my husband is irish decent & i am scottish decent. phaelan means "little wolf" in celtic & gaelic.
I grew up with a number of friends who had unusal names....and they had a hard time and complained.....so I considered the effect on my child (and my childs feelings) when choosing a name.

I don't have any uncommon names myself but I do think that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have pulled ahead with Zuma Nesta Stefani-Rossdale.
